I don't know if my 2007 GTI MKV is tuned or not?

So I recently bought a 2007 Golf GTI MKV that has 110,000 miles on it. From my knowledge it has a few of the following mods done to it.

1. Magnaflow dual exit exhaust
2. coilovers and lowering springs
3. wheels and tires
4. a psi or boost gauge?
5. cold air intake
6. UNITRONIC DECAL STICKERS?

The one thing that confuses me is the boost gauge and the two unitronic decals on the window. When I drive it only reaches 9 psi and from my understanding that is stock psi? How can I tell if my car was tuned, I want to tune the car but don't know how to go about that since it was most likely tuned before.

Did you ask the person you bought it from?? You could also contact UNI and ask the if they have any record your car.

I suggest as GTI's did....and contact UNI if impossible to ask the seller. Have your VIN ready to provide to UNI if you choose to contact them.

Otherwise, you can have it checked for boost leaks. If any are found and remedied, it will likely boost more than 9 psi if tuned.

Stock boost can initially spike to near 14 psi and hold steady at near 10 psi (±1 psi).
