2007 VW Jetta Wolfsburg - First VW, Loved it. Drove it from Milwaukee to Seattle, then Shipped to Hawaii
2002 Lexus IS300 - Love/Hate Relationship. Everyone raves about this car but it felt this car was super boring and bland. Like a box of stale dollar store cheerios (if such a thing exists).
2010 VW GTI - First GTI after almost 9 years of lusting over them. Currently 50k miles and looking to get into a 2012/2013 before the MKVII Refresh. I love the MK6.

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and will be picking up my Gti either tomorrow or Wednesday. I feel as though I'm probably past the normal age for a GTI owner, but my first car when I when I was 16 was a Rabbit, then I had a convertible Wolfsburg Rabbit for a few years. I've now been in a blue Jetta for 10 years which I bought new, but have always secretly loved GTI's. I'm I too old to be racing around in a GTI....lol

I'm 39 how about you?

Funny, my first car was an '81 Rabbit which I got when I was 18. I just got a new 2012 GTI on Sunday and I'm 34...last 3 cars have all been GTI's since 2003. Most of the people I see driving GTIs around here are definitely younger than me though!
