wait a minute, how old are u actually, golf5racing?
Maybe during the school years you get some extra holidays, but once you are working there are much less holidays especially in the US than in EU in general. Take Easter as an example in Canada we get Easter Monday off in EU Monday and Friday are off in US nothing ( at least in the private sector - maybe schools and some government offices are closed)
I've never been to Waterfest - many of my GTI buddies went the last two years but I never made it. Two years ago I almost moved to NJ for work, but I changed my mind. Most of NJ is a dump...no offence to those who live there, but I like it here in Toronto much better.
I might go down this year, I haven’t decided yet. Are you going?

I have some Hungarian friends and I still speak Hungarian better than English. It is my mother tongue after all. I never really had to use Slovak even when I lived there. If I had stayed there I would have eventually learned it but since I moved here 11 years ago I did not practice Slovak at all, that's why I forgot most of it. I can understand about 60-70% of general conversation ( street talk) but can't really speak it. I guess if I moved back there I could learn it pretty easily.
