Headlight Lenses

Wondering if anyone knows the best place to get replacement lenses for the GTI headlights. Mine are all yellow and i don't want to have to buy the entire housing. I found some for $90 http://volxtuning.com/products-page...enses/mkv-gti-jetta-plastic-headlight-lenses/ but someone on here said they got some for $50. Wondering if anyone else could shed some light. Thanks for any help

Spend the $90, you won't regret it. I sold mine already for $35 which were in good shape.

Yea the Hella brand. The only difference is the Volxtuning.have point tabs that hold the face to the lens.
The OEM have small holes where the Torx screws go.
You'll see what i mean once you open them.

Those are...the HELLA brand. What I like about them is the nice UV coating, they are a perfect fit.

Have you tried polishing them? The headlights lends? It will go cheaper.

I did and it went back to yellow again. New lenses would be a better solution than new housings and it would last longer

is there a DIY or how do i remove the lenses?

one headlight is newer than the other -lame-

If they are just oxidized (not cracked or broken) you can easily polish them back up with something like Menzerna fg400 and a cheap polishing pad on your drill.

Then shoot a clear over the top or like said apply a clear lamin x yo prevent it happening again. Did my friends GTI lights last weak. Came out like new and they were fogged yellow to say the least.
