Have a golf 5 gti not starting

If i turn the key the car cranks over then the throttal body starts clicking and the cooling fan comes on but car will not start fuel pump primes but don't think long enough .HELP

Do you have VAG-COM? Have you a way to scan for DTCs? Can you view the data for both high and low fuel pressures and timing in other words?

If not...you need someone to do so.
Otherwise, all anyone can give you is a list of parts to swap in hopes you finally find the cause.
