Being of Scandinavian descent, I get offended when people dress like a Viking or Thor. Those helmets with the horns are not only historically incorrect, they perpetuate a negative stereotype that all Norwegians are bloodthirsty berserkers.

My wife is Scandinavian descent. She hasn't bludgeoned me...yet. On a different note: You must understand that anyone who thinks modern-day Scandinavians are bloodthirsty berserkers based on Vikings of a thousand years ago- well, such people would be a source of gut-wrenching laughter, and not to be taken seriously. Furthermore, I would be proud to have Thor as part of my heritage, even tho he is mythology and a comic-book character, because Thor is fcking Cool !
