Yup, accidentally aired out on the highway trying to juggle my ezpass and downshift while going through one of the express ez pass lanes. I'm sitting there thinking "man that is a very familiar smell, wtf is that?". Then my buddy flys up next to me and screams, "Your tires are all over my car, AIR UP DUDE!!!". Rode for a solid mile or two with zero psi in the rear bags, I sit on lip at 20 psi. 2" strip,a foot long of missing paint on both sides. Bought some touch up paint and some sand paper, unless you look for it from like 3 or 4 feel, you can't tell.

Oh damn! That's my biggest fear with airride ><

I won't lie, i was that close and I couldnt see it. Great touch up job!

SO how were the wheels after skimmin rim?

Thanks dude. 3 cans of wd40 to remove all the rubber from my car and wheels. It was everywhere. The backs of the lips unpolished themselves with road debris over the last few months, so it wasn't really that bad. The 1/4s and tires took the brunt of the damage.

Paint wise, after removing the rubber, i sand the whole area with 400, painted, hit with 600, painted, hit with 800, then 1600 to make smooth. I was gunna clear coat, but then I got drunk and decided it was not a good idea.
