Getting New Rims! Need Suggestions!

I would do 8.5. They will be fine as far as fitment. It's more about the tire size and 235/40 won't rub.

You mentioned Golf. Are you lowered? If not and you don't plan to, I would definitely go 245/40 to fill in the gap more.

Finally, VMR are hubcentric, so you won't have to use hub rings like with the Enkei. That being said, I haven't had any issues using hub rings other than tire shop losing one during a rotation one time. So now I keep extras in the car.

Finally, for white, go gunmetal or bronze.

Monkey MD.........Driving myself NUTS here with this final decision !!!!!!

I have it in my head that the 235/40-18 (Continental DWS06) is the Best Fitment, Best Look

I then "think" that the 235/40 would be best mounted on a 8.5" Wide Rim !!!!!

VMR 710 18x8.5 has et45............Similar looking ENKEI-Raijin 18x8.5 has et42
so the ENKEI Pokes Out 3mm more

Asking the FITMENT GURU's which of the above is a BETTER LOOK on my 19 Golf SE

Leaning toward HYPER SILVER vs GUNMETAL.........Please advise !!!!!!
My 2019 Golf SE is Pure White

Yes I may want to lower with VWR , H&R or DG (VW) springs ???
Then I'm forced to buy Aftermarket Bilstein or Koni Dampners
