fuel filter change

i have a volkswagen gti 2009. I changed the fuel filter and followed the tutorial step by step, and primed the car. When I finally try to start the car, I don't even get a crank. I turn the key, and nothing happens. No crank, no noise. Can someone help?

i followed the tutorial from deutsche auto parts and the battery is fine

Do you have a scan tool, if so scan it if not ......................See if you have approx 12 volts+ at terminal 50 by disconnecting the plug and using a dvm while trying to start the car, if seeing good voltage there then its with your starter or large battery wire to starter.
