Can you give me some details on how this is done? I am only interested in adding some bass to the current factory setup, nothing more.

Are you suggesting to grab high level inputs off the rear speakers? Or is there a better cleaner way of doing this? If so I just might take this off your hands.

I didn't install it myself so I can't give you full details, but I can tell you (according to the installer) it's a cake install. It cost me $100 for installation and it took about 1.5 hours. Like you, I just wanted some extra oomph in the factory system. I didn't change the head unit or speakers; just added the Stealthbox and amp, and I can't describe to you the differnce it makes. Let the speakers focus on mids and highs, let the JL sub/amp take care of the rest.
