Damn it! well I been lovn VW for a while now but thinkn seriously of switching to the big brother AUDI...........after checking out the article and viewing some QnA the stats are incredible, its gonna be $50 geez but for the $$$$ not much can beat it heres just a few ####s and some pics to check out

Manual yeah, but not the 2 door. After purchasing a 2 door, I didn't realize how much regret I would have. I never thought I would be carrying people all the time lol. Love this car though!

I don't think the A3 flows well as a 2 door, but its probably just me.

I know what you mean. It seems too stretched as a 2 door. Is the A3 longer than the Golf/GTI?

Yeah, I looked long and hard at the A3 before going with the GTI and I just couldn't get past the station wagon vibe it has going on. Doesn't help that 95% of people I see in LA driving the A3 are women, moms etc. The 2 door straight S3 though looks much sharper and sportier to me and if they brought it here, that'd be the next car for sure.

A3 2drs look great (and I'm a 4dr guy). They're all over Europe and Mexico - the US gets short changed.

Now we just HAVE to convince Audi NA to bring the car here...
Problem is, most people that want such a ride can't drop $50 grand on it; would look to buy it used 1-2 years down the line. Because of this, they'll only bring over a very limited amount (if this happens at all), meaning that the price really won't fall much.

This is my dream car.

But I would still take my MK6 GTI anyday over the standard A3. The MK6 is just sportier and has nicer lines... where as the A3 is more station wagon looking.

But a 2.5 fixes that though lol
