Normally, a Fiesta lining up against a Mustang for a quarter-mile run wouldn't exactly be fair. This is no ordinary Mustang, but this is also no ordinary Fiesta,. The Fiesta is Tanner Foust's GRC competition-spec car, and its 2.0-liter engine has been upped to more than 550 hp. The Mustang that Tanner's up against is a 2013 Cobra Jet packing a 5.0-liter V8 with Ford Racing-built, 2.9-liter Whipple Supercharger, driven by NHRA legend Roy Hill.
Most of you probably know Tanner Foust from Top Gear USA, and from his various motor racing escapades. Roy Hill is the founder of Roy Hill's Drag Racing School.
