So I built a seperate DSG coolant system which runs a VR6 aux water pump, to a front mounted heat exchanger, and back to the oil/coolant exchange on top of the tranny. I one small thing that bugs me; I have no easy way to know if the water is flowing. I put a section of clear hose but you cant see it flowing becaue there is no bubbles. The hose size is 5/8 but I was thinking of install a pin wheel flow meter like the one you see at old gas stations or on fish tanks. I dont want to get into anything that actually meters, just something so I can look down and see the water is flowing. Any suggestions welcome. For now I have a piece of shoe lace in the clear hose that fludders when the pump is on lol
