Flashing engine light

Hi all VW owners!! First off, I'm stoked to be apart of this community!!

So I have a little issue.
I own a GTI MK5 Pirelli Edition and have a stage 1 + Tune mapped (unotronic).
I noticed that if I put the car into S it will flash engine light. Some say it's a misfire, some say it's due to over revving. Can anyone shed some light on this problem for me?

you need to pull the codes to see what it is, you are not supposed to drive it with a flashing MIL.

You getting any messages with the blinking light, might be misfires or something else need a scan tool to log misfires and see if they follow the light and to see what Dtc you might have. Over revving should bring up a P1560.

If you don't have a code reader, there are shops that offer free scan service.
