Finally threw a code for an old issue...

I have been having an issue for a few years at this point, it only shows itself during the hot summer months on long drives (multiple hours). I will be driving along at a constant speed and the RPMs will drop, just for a few seconds and then return, there is NO throttle response during this time. It is the same feeling you get when taking your foot off the gas for a second. The car loses speed until it goes back to normal. This happens every two minutes are so. For the first time the car threw a code while doing this. Here is what I got:

There was a TSB on a fuel pump issue when I last took my car in. Yours is a FSI as well so that might solve the issue.

Sorry I can't remember what they did exactly, just throwing it out there.

TSBs are free outside of warranty, right?

I can't remember exactly but don't they just the extend the warranty coverage for the faulty part?

commonly the lpfp or fuel pump conrol module. When I had the issue, it was always the fuel pump control module overheating (from being insulated under the rear seat)
