So I got a used AWE TurboBack exhaust on about a month ago. I did the install myself under the supervision of the master tech here at the dealership. Initially it rattled against a support, but we bent that down.
Now it has started up again and is getting progressively worse. It always rattles like crazy on startup and taking off from first. It usually stops after a bit of driving, but this morning I noticed it making noise in idle sitting at a traffic light!
I am going to put it back on a lift and tighten up the bolts where it meets the motor. Anything else I should look for/check on?
I am thinking that the movement of the motor can cause this (esp at start up). What mounts do you think would help the most?
