Plastic is probably the best for price and oem look. I agree that a CF cover would require a CF intake.

^What the saint said. The CF would stand out, and aluminum looks cheap(and is).

Thanks guys! You are awesome, so far you are confirming my decisions. I feel like we should go with plastic, which is actually the most expensive (tooling costs), but it would look the cleanest in the engine bay and next to the intake. CF would be the second cheapest next to aluminum.

We will probably make a CF engine cover as well as plastic, but you will only see one released initially, and the other will follow eventually ;)

I third the group buy. Think I already brought it up on another thread. Got the money set aside already. for the intake. Also, I believe the CF cover would look great with a CF intake.
