Car is still in my garage, I don’t drive it a ton. Haven’t finished the 4mo swap but it’s on my to-do list. I’d like to get it into a more “daily-able” condition, full on race car isn’t as much fun anymore. Will probably dump the DI and 6-speed for port injection and DSG when I find spare funds

I probably check golfmkv once every 3-4 months and of all days, it’s the days you guys post lol

6 month check in. 4motion is done, 13 years after I started. Fired it up for the first time today in about 4 months and all 4 wheels go round. Fabbed a new exhaust because the driveshaft interfered with the old one, it has a bigger muffler so it’s much more streetable. This website is useless, video won’t upload but pic of new exhaust and the AWD setup should be there

just happened to check this site on a whim after not visiting for 7 years and THE 4MO is DONE???? Congrats. Stoked to see the next 6 month check-in.
