Door Remote settings ?

Hi,

Have to press my remote twice to make all my doors unlock... have heard you can change somthing to make it open all doors with one click but have no idea how ............ can any-one advise ?

Car is an 07 GT TSI 170

Shoould be a setting in the MFD2 display to unlock all doors at once.

My Golf doesn't have the full MFD, it's kind of split in the middle.... Will see what I can find out.

If you don't have the MFD2, then the only way to adjust this is through Vagcom I believe.

If you Have the MFD plus you can do this via the menu system, if you have the standard MFD then your local dealer can change this in under 10 minutes by connecting to their 5051/5052 machines.

Some will make a small charge which should be no more that £20 max, if your a regular customer or you have it done at service it's very unlikely you will be charged at all.

I had mine done, I got fed up of jumping in the car only to find three passengers all frantically pulling on door handles...
