I thought about the XB before, but don't want to lose the ability to fold down the rear seats for cargo.

The XB provides diagonal rigidity to the Hatch Area.

The UB provides diagonal rigidity (corner to corner) across the Exhaust Tunnel.

I still believe the "improvement" is all in the installers mind. The XB is 4 tiny screws that hold it on, plus it is attached by the floor of the car.

The UB is replacing steel supports that were already there. Again, I do not see that there would be much benefit at all.

Hence why id rather get a rear strut beam
