So, I have been there. For at least one of your codes. I will try and figure out wtf i did.
Did you figure out what you had done to resolve this code? Like you said I assume mine is probably defective. Seems like there is a whole forum about these cores over on a TDI forum:

Sounds like some people have had luck re-soldering some of the resisters on the circuit board are poorly connected to the board? I'm no electrician but I do have a solder gun. Not sure how involved this repair might be. Anyone able to shed some light on this? I'm not familiar at all with resisters, Ohms, etc to determine if this might be my culprit.
