DIY - Plastidipping your rims

Alright so tommorow im going to be starting the 2 days process of plasti dipping my GLI's Charleston's..

wish me luck! I will be posting pictures and such on how i did it as i go throughout the process

4 cans of plasti dip and some painters tape= Less then 120 Bucks per wheel for powder coating:thumbsup:

exactly, it's not going to look like powdercoat, it's going to look like rubberized paint... which is what it is.

My plan is too put my car on jack stands clean each wheel/rim make it all nice clean my calipers up spray them let them compltley dry then put them bakc on the car, prob a one day project but im starting tonight at 4:00 cause i have school till 3:00:thumbdown:

exactly, it's not going to look like powdercoat, it's going to look like rubberized paint... which is what it is.

yes its a rubberized spray but on rims it looks beautiful. u can even take a little wheel polish and put it on the plasti dip when u done give it a little more of a shine. it should look good!

Plasti-Dip goes on much easier than it comes off. Good luck.
