Detailing!

I had spoken to this client over the phone a few weeks prior and he had let me know he was going to be purchasing a slightly used RS3 out of province. Wasn't sure what to expect but definitely wanted the paint protected with Opti Coat Pro. In it finally came and after a few test spots we determined it needed a 2 stage polish.

We had protected this Evora S with Opti Coat Pro about 2 years back and now the owner was bringing it in for our Basic In & Out package to prep it for storage as he had no time to do it himself. Here are a few pics from the job.

Giving the paint a light polish/wax which is ceramic based and repairs and adds on to the exsisting coating

After the light buffing the metallic flake was popping in the paint

Late post but wanted to share two cars we detailed for the 2018 Auto Show this year that you might have seen in the Exotica section beneath the escalator.

Long time client brought in this low mileage Panther Black R8 in for a 1 stage polish + Opti Gloss Coat. First time seeing this black in person and it is so beautiful!

Long time client who previously brought us his Audi RS5 brought in his new toy, which was this R8 RWS. RWS standing for "Rear Wheel Series" that is a limited edition release for the 2nd generation R8.

Car came in and right away we could see the paint required a 2 stage polish. So in we went. I love black cars lol.

Always start out with the wheels first

After all the polishing was completed we wipe down the paint with alcohol to remove all the polishing oils so that the coating can have a bare surface to adhere too

Tires dressed

All glass and mirrors cleaned

And Crystal Serum Light applied.

After trying pretty much all the coatings available on the market this summer we fell in love with this one. One of the big reasons is the slick feeling similar to a wax.

When ceramic coatings came on the market thats one of the elements that was lost, I missed that slick feeling of a wax on paint. But this coating has the best of both worlds, ceramic protection with the slick feeling of a wax!
