left headlight/fender/bumper and probably rad support underneath is f'ed up. waiting to find out if insurance will fix and I pay the deductable, or they may total it, and i'll get a check to use down payment on something else. then damn thing was almost paid off too!

yep, if they decide it costs more then its worth (high miles now) I'll use the check and look at 08' R32's under $20g's, dont wanna deal with the fsi stuff all over again in a different GTI or GLI. plus i miss the VR6. I helped my mom get an 07' passat 3.6 with 4motion wagon, its pretty nice for $11k out the door. but still hope to find reasonable deal on an R, assuming this car is done. my ACV cant be more then 5k.

Sad to hear but also awesome. I would love to be able to pick up an R, been one of my dream cars for a loooong time.
