I just don't think it's gonna solve my issue guaranteed... why?
Because I upgraded from a basic shortshifter to the dieselgeek (with bushings) and noticed no difference.

Paying 60 bucks for something that personally I doubt will net 60 bucks of satisfaction back to me
Then again 60 bucks can be blown just as easily on a night out so...

It's one of the best things you can do to your shifter. I'd bet you find it to be a bigger difference in how it feels than the short shifter itself

All US 164's got the dohc version of the Busso V6. It's the only good thing about the 164.

I'll still take a sohc 3.0l Busso in a 75. Well, if they haven't all rusted away to nothing.

It doesn't sound like it's a cable adjustment to me because it's only 1-2 and the other gears are fine. Sounds like the linkage under the shift boot is rotting because they do that.

To me it means he could just be 1 or 2 threads off on the side to side adjustment. I've had this problem before and pulling out the side to side cable just a tiny bit fixed it.
