More like Michigan shore. I'm gonna go see some corn fields and smell some cow shit. I keep hearing about this thing called fall and seeing some color, but I don't get it.

I think I'm finally getting too old for video games, either that or it's hard to find a legitimately fun game anymore.

The latest game I actually really enjoyed was Need For Speed Unbound. It was cheesy and stupid but was just fun to goof around in. I just picked up a Forza Horizon and the handling felt good but otherwise it just felt empty and boring.

It's hard to find anything with a gameplay loop that really hooks me in these days.

If the next Forza Motorsport doesn't do anything for me I guess I'll be down to focused simulators like iRacing.

I definitely find that I'm harder to impress these days. CS2 is fun as an esport, Horizon Zero Dawn wasn't bad (really looking forward to getting Forbidden West on Steam), and Sea of Stars is an absolute masterpiece.

That's why I keep going back to 2D side-scrollers/metroidvanias and the like...just classic gameplay that gives me the old-school feels...

I think I made a wrx mad yesterday. He seemed like he was enjoying his drive. The weather was nice, so he had his windows down. I'm an annoying piece of shit, so I floored it past him making sure I shifted right as I was passing him. There was traffic ahead of us so 20 seconds later he rolled past me, but now he had his window up. I should have beat him up for not appreciating my vroom vroom noises.
