oh and CSB, the rally MX3 was really fun for like four runs

and then it started smoking wildly as I was pulling up to start, so I backed it up to grid quick and shut it down. Looks like a lower coolant hose either ripped off or blew off, but it was very brown and I'm not sure if it's oil or dirt #justrallycarthings. So a friend towed it home for us, and we've got it parked in the back corner where it can think about what it's done while I decide if I feel like fixing it. I burnt the shit out of my arm trying to put the hose back on, it doesn't have a skidplate so I'm hoping that it just ripped the coolant hose off because it uses those stupid compression clamps we're all familiar with but who the hell knows. I'm not putting a motor in it because it's a rusty pile, but for the brief time I drove it it was really fun so I'd like to drive it again.

Friday we leave for Monterey Car Week and I'm so excited and I'm gonna eat the sand at Laguna Seca to gain its power

CSB Boat story: only have 1/2 the details

On my way home from show last night on the hwy. Pulled over on the right I see a p/up truck with a boat trailer. Trailer has the hitch off but the safety chains are still there. No boat, about two trash cans of debris, damaged guardrail and person on other side of rail on the phone. I assume his boat was down off the road (ground sloped away couldn't see).

At least it went off the road and not onto the hwy.....assuming there was a boat.

CSB Boat Story:

Spent my whole saturday polushing a boat. Made money but wow did i underestimate how hard it was and how much sheer surface area there was. And no panelgaps made it so hard to keep track of where i was. And it was a nice boat and all but the color did not help at all with seeing before and after results.

It reminds me one time in middle school, a friend and I were offered $150 to rake this dudes lawn. "Fuck yeah!" we though. "$75 each? We'll be rich for some easy work!"

This assholes lawn was like the size of a fucking football field. It took two solid 8 hour days. Talk about exploiting cheap labor, dude got 32 man hours for $150. Made like half of minimum wage.

CSB: My family and I were hiking in the mountains over the weekend. Very nice trail; steep, rocky, uneven, lots of elevation change, heavily wooded, the works. We stopped for a breather at a small bridge over the creek, and down the hill towards us comes the strangest sight I've ever seen in the mountains: five guys on got damn unicycles. On a trail. WTF. I don't think I could ride a unicycle on flat level ground, the these fools are blasting down the mountain side over rocks like it's nothing.
