I've heard mk5 GTI's are easy to swap 4 motion into. The One Lap VW guys do this to keep in the economy car class, but swap in 4 motion and E888 Gen 3's.

I knew a dude that did this. He pretty smart but also a nut. He read that Chinese emperors used to do it and decided to give it a shot. About a week in he said "this is disgusting" and that was that.

Eventually he turned into a National Socialist. Literally. Not to say there's a link between the two but........
