I never bought those mix-tape type CDs. Last CDs I bought were the soundtrack for Paint Your Wagon and Minor Threat. Had a 6-disk changer in the trunk.

That said, 2001-08 I was either deployed or training to deploy, not much time for pop-culture.

By the time I was driving aftermarket headunits had usb slots on them, so I'd always have like a 32gb thumbdrive with a bunch of music on it. Then it was an ipod/itouch for a time.
