Coolant leak from hose/fitting above oil pan

2007 Rabbit Auto 2.5L 09G (new to me)

Front end has been on ramps for a while for my slow repairs.

i noticed liquid dripping down the front of the oil pan (mid section). I was able to trace it to a pipe or fitting above that area. What components are above the lower hose (yellow arrow)?

I'll have to take off the top covers to view it from above during more daylight.

The pictures are from the bottom of engine bay in front of the oil pan.
The red arrow is the component i believe is leaking.
What are the component at the red arrow and yellow arrow?

Thanks. Was just watching different videos removing the intake manifold leading to the thermostat housing or the seals as probably being the problem. Definitely not something i was planning for.

This is just an update: The leaking coolant occurred when the front end was on ramps while working on the transmission valve body. Now that most of the work is done (no coolant hose/housing work) and the car is drivable, there is no leakage any longer.

What work did you do on the Rabbit? Did you open up the cooling system at all?

I dropped the transmission pan, removed the valve body to replace the solenoids due to shifting problems. of course i replaced the transmission filter and refilled fluid.
Rebuilt Brake Booster Pump due to the common leak of the failing seal.
All this was present when i bought the car. Didn't touch anything on the driver side when the coolant leak was detected. Currently, both belts, both tensioners and the upper pulley are replaced. Lower pulley was not replaced (pending tool)

does this look like a OFH Gasket leak?

Got it all buttoned up today. Will see if the leaks are fixed:
Replaced thermostat housing (including thermostat), o-ring from housing to water pipe, OFH gasket + Oil Cooler gasket, intake manifold gasket, cleaned throttle body. Fresh oil + filter and currently cooling with distilled water.
GTI's, thanks for all your support on this project.
