Coming Home - enabled, but not working..

I had read that having a Euro switch was not necessary for Coming Home / Leaving Home to function; just need high-line and full MFD.

LH works fine, but even after enabling CH in vagcom and setting the time in MFD - it doesn't actually work.

I have the standard on/off switch, that was the norm for NA cars. But as soon as you turn key to off position, lights go off - even when switch is left on.

Am I missing something, or does this available feature just not actually work without a Euro switch?

coming home you need the euro switch, leaving home you dont

its all fine and dandy but I turned them all back off as I didn't like the added abuse to the HID system

Same here. I only have LH working. I have a Euro switch too but it doesn't have the auto position.
