I've searched but could not find much. What are the benefits of a colder plug?
I live in SoCal and it is time for new plugs. Thanks for the help.

It can help against detonation, a lot of people with turbo motors run a step or two colder than stock.

On the 2.0T, I would just run stock temp honestly. The 1.8T I would run the colder plugs.

I did 1 step colder copper NGK's on my stage II tune. I felt the car smoother especially in this weather. Since they are copper i might switch over back to stock plugs in the winter time.. But overall it won't hurt the car
