I swapped in my Koni coilovers the other day, and saw some questions on install. It was really fairly simple, and didn't require any spring compressors or anything. And it took literally 30 mins per side, fronts.

I'll have to add some photos later.

The tools: -sizes might be off one or two.. I'm doing this write up at work while bored.
13mm for the 3 top bolts
18mm x2 for the bolt and nut that squeezes the bottom on of the shock
18 deep for the swaybar end link.
Floor jack. 2 is preferable.
Bottle jack
Rubber mallet.

Disclaimer- the Koni's I installed were used, and already assembled.
- use air power

Steps:
1. Loosen lug bolts
2 jack up car. Probably a good idea to use jack stands, I didn't.
3. Remove wheel.
4. Remove bolt from swaybar end link
- helps if you can do the other side at the some time, lots more room with the swaybar completely out of the way.
5. Remove bolt and nut that compresses the A arm around the bottom of the shock.
6. Use rubber mallet gently to persuade a
A arm off of shock
- a piece of wood under the where the rotor could possibly fall wouldn't hurt.
- lubricant would also be helpful
7. Remove 3 top bolts, remove stock suspension

Reinstall in reverse order. But these tips could help.
- leave the top 3 bolts loose until complete
- use bottle jack under A arm, lift until shock is almost seated in hole, lift on jack, wiggle rotor/tap shock and continue slowly lifting/tapping/wiggling Slowly until shock is seated.

Reattach all bolts and wheel and that's it
