The air duct can still be opened and closed with the wheel. Airflow is still great. You do lose the directional flow of the air, but no biggie. I just use the other center vent to direct flow if I need to. The cables are routed through a hole that is drilled on the underside of the duct, so they're not in the way at all.

Getting cold here now. Had heat on other night and air still coming through my vent gauge and i have yet to block it off. Actually when i touched the metal ring around the gauge it was friggin hot! Car gets warm inside so fast i may not put some insulation under the vent to direct air flow. Summer time might be different though.

Got the gauge last night.
I like it so far.
The numbers are very easy to read on the gauge face (unlike the Eurojet unit).
Now I will just have to find time to install the thing... maybe the day after Thanksgiving.
So far so good... of and the shipping was lightning fast. Ordered Sunday morning and I got it Wednesday! Amazing! :thumbup:

If this gauge will fit my AWE pod, I will pick one of these up in a heartbeat! They do sell the components separately on their website, gauge and pod can be purchased separately.

I'm pretty sure the opening is 45mm. Definitely not 52mm.
I just used the fuse taps and tapped into the fuse box. I'm probably going to switch it to the headlight switch. Let me know what wires you tap into so I can do the same.

Can someone post up pics of the front and back of the pod, as well as the back of the gauge itself? I am interested in how the gauge mounts within the opening in the pod, and how its secured in place...

Thats only mechanical boost gauges where there is a chance of it buzzing. This is an electronic gauge so there absolutely zero buzz.

Id love to see more pictures of this gauge. Im picky about color and how much light gets through the black. How fast does an electric gauge read compared to the mechanical ones?

If there was any buzz, it'd be at the sender, which is in the engine compartment, where you'll never hear it.

Yeah with the headlight switch it will come off/on with the lights and you can dim it. I was wondering if there is any other power sources (hazard switch, dash lights, radio) that would be closer to tap that would dim?
BTW mine did NOT come with instructions. I was a little dissapointed.
