i think if the face was tinted, I'd be sold.

My prosport is but that's not color matched! You do get two colors though green/amber or white/amber. If it's a regular wedge style bulb in there you could probably swap it out with one of the 430 nm color match LED bulbs. It does the same stepper sweep which I love but hardly ever notice when I'm starting the car.

This shot shows a thingie with a white nipple on it. I assume that is the vacuum sender. The 'tex how-to thread showing the install in a Mk4 shows it hooked up in the engine compartment.

The only thing I don't like is the vacuum T fitting. I think something like the 42DD or BSH boost gauge taps may be a perfect fit for this kit.

So is the hole on the vent gauge 45mm? So my Eurojet I just orderes may fit this hole if the body of my gause is 45mm? I know the face on the Eurojet is 52mm but I love the location of this vent WAaAAAY better. Did you measure the hole on the vent?

The sending unit is to the right in the picture posted above. You're gonna have to tap at the location below for vacuum. A vacuum line goes to the sending unit, which then converts the pressure to an electrical signal. The white plug that you see goes to the back of your gauge. As for a boost tap, they include one in their package. A BSH, 42DD design would probably be better, but then the package would probably be more expensive. The one they sent will work for now I guess. Their instructions was a bit rough for someone that did not have a clue to what is going on, but with all the DIY's on here, it was easy. They were still working on the DIY when the package was sent to me. It's probably done now, but it tells you where to tap for vacuum, where to run the lines, and what fuses to tap for electrical. You could always ask me if you have any problems and I would be glad to help. I sure everyone else would chime in too.

We have contacted them about becoming a dealer. If the price they offer us allows us to make a good package kit for our customers you can expect this offering this very shortly.

V2.0T: Where did you use that T-section to tap? Mind snapping a photo.. unless the cam is completely done. :(

I think they may have taken a picture of the wrong T-fitting. The one they sent was similar to the New South fitting. I tapped into the same section as everyone else that don't have a boost tap from 42DD or BSH. As for taking pictures, the camera is done. Not turning on for some reason.

WOW! Awesome find. Two Questions:

1. Im not really crazy about vent mounting but i would be able to consider this one if you can still aim the fins for the vent back towards the driver. Any experience with how well the vent performs with this installed? It gets really hot here and i cannot afford to lose that vent entirely.

2. Did you guys ever determine if this will actually fit a 52mm pod? I am actually looking at getting the OSIR pod that sits in front of the gear shift on the center console. I really like that location.

I would like to add this to my christmas list so i can do it at the same time as the head unit install. Gotta take it all apart anyway.

Thank you in advance!!!

Are you able to open / close the vents with your vent wheel, or are the cables blocking it?
