Car Audio Question

Alright fellas, I just ordered a Kicker Solo Baric 10 in L7 pushing out 600 RMS at 2 ohms. Will there be a problem hooking that up to a Power Acoustik 2 channel also 2 ohms and 450 RMS. I just dont want any problems when I go to install is all.

The Kicker doesn't "push out" anything, that's the manufacturer's specification for rated max power it can handle. Typically you want an amp that has a higher RMS output than the speaker is rated for, it's far far easier to break the sub with too little power and clipping, than providing it too much power. Of course that amp too will work, just make sure you set the gain correctly and don't try to run the amp at max. Personally I'd get a more powerful mono amp.

Thanks Coco, I am going to look for that I was afraid that the amp would over power the sub but I suppose I was mistaken. I bought the L7 instead of the L5 because of the great price, and I suppose I should have went with the L5. Maybe I will contact them and tell them to swap it for the L5 so that I dont have to buy another amp eventually.
