No one is prevented from keeping their current car. The law doesn't require your car be removed from the street, so not sure what your point is?

I do appreciate the sarcasm. I have gotten over 40 MPG on an all highway trip. 42.5 when it was all 65 MPH on a relatively level road.Where are all the people that are claiming that they get 40mpg in their GTIs?
