best headphones <$100

so i've got a pair of $20 sony ear plugs, they work pretty nice, but i love music and i want to hear everything. what's the next level up? any recommendations?

I own Sennheiser HD220's (good with an expensive amp), Sennheiser CX380 Sports (playful and fun but not elaborate sound), Maximo iM-780 (good detail and range but not very fun), Klipsch S3 (Very comfortable but sound made for people who don't care about sound) and Klipsch C-3 (Amazing sound, balance and comfort, but terrible, terrible chord. Discontinued so you may find a pair for cheap). That's not to mention the countless iPod earbuds and no-name bundled pairs not worth pointing out.

My only issue with the S4's is that I don't have a set of gel thingies that fit my ear well enough to run or ride in. They always seem to come out.

My Klipsch X-10's are really nice and very comfortable but they're expensive. You might wait till Black Friday where there are a TON of great deals on headphones every year. Last year I got my X-10's (normally $300) for $99 on Amazon on Black Friday.
