case for what kind of purpose?
On my iPad i use a leather case, would have a smart cover if i had an iPad2. Have a silicon sleeve for use when dropping is an issue.

I use a Targus 360 rotating case. I can turn the iPad on myself, thank you very mich, and don't need a "smart" case. The Targus with a built-in stand is perfect for lounging and using the iPad in either portrait or landscape mode.
