Hi mate, been reading your thread and looking at your handy work. I was wondering whether you or anyone else on the UK forums could help me. I am from Australia and l have a mkv golf gti 05, very first ones out. I am in the process of upgrading my headlights from reflector oem hella's to a Hella r32 xenon look projector. These are designed for halogen globes or market as such. The only places l can find these are in Germany, and tmtuning, but if you know of anyone in the UK seliing these that you could put me onto, that would be great. I have a friend that can ship them to me direct, all l need is to source the suppliers. On other ebay sites from Germany they are marketed as
HELLA Golf 5 MK5 XENON HEADLIGHTS LOOK SET R32 = RHD
As we are on the same side of the road as you guys in the UK, they will have the reostats in them to adjust the height internally from the cockpit. Being Hella, they should be good fitting and good quality projectors uses.

Any help Omar would be appreciated.

Hi, Germany seems to be the only place that has them.

We have hella celis projectors that are very similar but have a different sidelight/citylights:

They are genuine hella and over a third cheaper and brand new!

Thanks Omar, yeah l saw these, but dont like them as l believe they wont suit the Golf GTI.

I will just keep looking, but have you heard of an ebay vendore out of Germany called Tuning fanatic shop? He has them or lists them and lm thinking of buying them from him, only thing is l wouldnt mind knowing if anyone has dealt with them before and had good experiences. Being so far away and outlaying this amount is a risk!!

Hi Neil. Retrofit of 2-zone climate control is possible but its not something I can do. All of the AC internals and mechanisms and flaps etc need changing as does the electrics and sensors and motors. Easiest and cheapest way is to buy a car with it already fitted from factory.
