Those look total ace & I would recommend anyone with 340mm discs to ditch the old heavy single piston sliding fist calipers & get those...

Couple of points they are light weight aluminium as they have steel top hat threaded washers for the main bolts...

They have the good old anti-vibration weights on them..basically to stop drone noise from heavy braking..

You can fit 17inch alloys over them as so close to the disc edge...

Downside...you have to remove calliper to change pads...no pins

So what’s the difference between this and the TTRS caliper aside from the 370mm versus 340mm fitment?

TTRS is Brembo and lighter weight. Think this is made by ATE if I remember correctly.

Thanks Blade3562 for adding the picture.

This should be a good solution to once wanting to ditch the heavy singl piston steel caliper.

I already have the TTRS 4pot calipers and vagbremtechnic disc kit.
But this would be a great setup...
If someone tries this please report back. I might use it for my winter setup....

I have this same question. I'd like to upgrade the brakes on my '15 GSW (TDI) and this looks like a good option. I have a set of 17" Winter wheels and would like to keep them.

Should be a straight swap onto the Golf PP (55mm dampers & alu) hub carriers....as RS3 is MQB..

It could also be a straight swap onto the low spec cast iron 50mm hub carriers as you can straight swap the GTI/GTD 312mm calliper carriers onto them...
