I'm interested to see how this works because from the few articles I read it was mentioned that the control unit itself had to be replaced on the NA DSG box to allow it to have launch control. It's not just a simple reflash. That's just speculation though as I have not read an official report of any sort that verifies that.

its true what you say, but this APR dealer told me that they are working and that is possible to be soon on the market, and for any that has allready APR chiped it will be an update.

I think is exactly the same mechanical parts, it would be more expensive to VW to do different version, for me its just electronics, have you nitice when you press the brake and accelerator some times the RPM´s don´t go up, Its a think like that just programing.
