Android 4.1(Jelly Bean) is the first android distribution that enables users to stream digital audio from the USB port. Obviously iphone already has this but now those of us that prefer android have an all inclusive port for charging, audio, etc that we can use in our cars.
I for one am impatiently waiting for the first person to come up with an adapter for our cars to be able to stream the audio to the OEM headunit so we no longer have to fumble with USB for charging and aux/bluetooth for anything requiring data transmission.
I know this post contains no useful information on HOW we can use this in our cars but I'm hoping that sometime soon, someone is able to post info on any solutions they may find.
