An Attempt at HDR, and it....

so i tried to create a HDR with some pics i took and just didnt turn out right. i tried to combine 5 images(2 under exposed, one right exposure, 2 over) using the bracketing on my camera. shots came out as expected, but when i tried to combine them in photomatrix, the resulting image was just way blown out. it looked like i upped the saturation on the pic 100%. i fulled around with it more but still the same result. would the problem be that i shot the pics in RAW?

Nope. RAW is the best choice.

BTW, the program is call Photomatix not Photomatrix.

if it were your first time using photomatix, make sure you didn't forget to tone map the hdr image
