Air cooled vintage VW engine for sale

I know this is not exactly the correct forum but I also know many of you folks have friends or more than one car. This is an early engine but the condition is superb. It appears as though it barely been run. I live in Methuen Ma just on the Salem NH line. I am into air cooled engines but Porsches. When I came across this I had to buy it. I’m hoping to pass it along to someone who can use it. I am not looking for a major profit. Just a couple of hundred over what I paid for my travel time to get it and having my money into it for a while until I knew what to do with it. If I wasn’t married I’d put it in my living room!
My price is firm at $1200. I will drive 20 miles to deliver once a deposit has been placed. Will welcome just about anyone to come look at it.
