It is noisier than I expected, and the test print shook a very heavy cabinet that it's sitting on probably because of the speed it was printing on. I've only printed a benchy thus far but, I'm really, really liking what I've seen so far. Going to be doing some more prints soon and that will give me a good bearing as to how I feel about it.
I think we all start by printing useless trinkets and such. I've been plenty guilty of that since I usually print some party favors for the kids' birthday parties, and some non-candy Halloween goodies for the kids with special dietary needs.
That being said I think I'm about 50/50 in regards to trinkets vs useful stuff. I've been printed plenty of brackets for cables, a silver tray, sponge holders, drawer spacers, etc. My biggest accomplishment (because I have 0 cad experience and Tinkercad is the best I can do so far) is recreating a bracket for a buddy of mine's business. He was having a hard time locating something specific for some conduits that he runs.
But I'll be honest, printing those useless trinkets are pretty fun anyways.
