2008 Rabbit 2-Door

I'm planning on getting a rabbit for my first car (I wanted to get a mk5 earlier but I couldn't) . I have a couple questions; is the manual transmission smooth and, the car is at 102K miles, how much longer could I drive the car if I took great care of it. This is a 2.5L I5.

I had an 08 rabbit manual and it was a great car. The trans is fine, I upgraded shift bushings and motor mounts and enjoyed it. You'll likely need to do a vacuum pump delete but the 2.5 is a solid motor that will run for a long time.
