2008 R32 DSG shifting issue

Only 50K on 2008 R32. Had DSG fluid changed at VW Dealer as well as a diagnostic on the DSG (no codes).

Here is my problem;
When I come up to a stop light and stop and wait for the light to change, I take my foot off the brake and step on the gas it seems the transmission is in 2nd gear and then quickly shifts down to 1st. This is very annoying and makes the car un-streetable. VW dealer says that is how the DSG works in an R model. Then it must be me that does not know how to drive this little R!
What or how do I correct this? Is there a non VW tune that could correct this or is there someone in Southeastern Wisconsin that could teach this "old dog" how to drive?

I see many complaints for it. There was one issue found where a wire was poorly crimped by the supplier for a certain portion of the build period. Not sure if yours fit into that period.

Not sure how much research you have done, but this may be the TSB on it: TB-35-11-01

This includes the manufacturer "(VW)" investigation: http://www.carsafetyreference.com/volkswagen-r32-2008/power-train/

Before you get crazy on potential electrical or mechanical issues I would recommend running through the basic setting and clutch adaptation process. It does require a test drive once complete, but will force the transmission to relearn your driving style and may eliminate strange behavior in stop/go traffic.
