In my opinon both Mitsu and Subaru ruined their "sports" cars. They both look sooo much less agressive. There was a new 08 wrx at the autocorss last weekend. I know its not a STI but it looked like a boat. I don't know the exact dimensions of the new car vs the old car but dam that thing was almost as big as my dads avalon from front to rear. Seats look cooler tho.

I like the interior... keeps you more or less on track with the driving experience kinda feel.

i think subaru made a great choice with the new body
the old Sti was too boy raceish for some people this will definetly attract a different crowd
i like it, im sure it will start growing on people
