Well, I got to check out the only McLaren P1 in North America tonight. Second best day of my life, first was of course when I got my first car, my GTI, 3 weeks ago haha. 2014 has been nice so far! The P1 is this man's new car; he also has quite a collection of classics, including a Porsche 917...

There has been lots of controversy over the direction that Maserati is going in. They have been making more "mainstream" luxury cars like the Ghibli, and the new Quattroporte is much less "exclusive", as in it uses all Chrysler switches and infotainment systems. The build quality may be going up...

So I found out today that the Mk7 Golf lineup was now on the Canadian VW site.. Apparently the GTI's over there now start at $29,000 and a fully-specced model will run about $41,000. Bit expensive? Link: http://contents.vw.ca/models/golflineup/en/ Mods, if this is in the wrong section please...

It's hideous in my opinion. Way too many curves, ugly round interior vents. Of course the tech in the car is impressive but that doesn't compensate for the hideousness. The headlights have 47 Swarovski crystals, they don't look too tasteful either. Taillights look like thin A4 taillights...
